What do you do for a living? What brought you down that path?
I am a performance and productivity speaker, trainer, and coach and am driven to help people, teams, and organizations break through their barriers to achieve and live an extraordinary life.
Tell us something that makes you stand out from the crowd? This can be a talent, life-experience, unique hobby.
I am a global adventurer – trekked to Everest Base Camp, explored the Amazon, sailed the Caribbean, kayaked the Grand Canyon, hiked Rim to Rim of the Grand Canyon, and am now pursuing the sport of Soaring as a glider pilot. There are many adventures not listed.
What is one experience that has shaped you to be the person you are today?
Taking Risks – my entire business and personal life has been a series of risky steps. I have discovered that it’s when we face our fears and lean into the unknown that we are fully alive. It is also here where we experience the most amazing and impossible outcomes.
What advice would you give your younger self?
I would tell my younger self to take more risks, to go bigger, to be bolder.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? On what and why? (personal or professional)
I recently bought a Garmin inReach GPS SOS Locator for my son so that in his adventures I can be there to help if something happens.
What is the one book that you recommend our audience should read and why?
UNLEASHED: Dominate your limitations, break through your barriers, live and extraordinary life by Jerome Wade. I recommend it not because I wrote it (well may be in part) but because it speaks to the real-life struggle and frustrations that so many people are dealing with. This book provides real solutions for real people who are ready for their breakthrough.

What is the biggest challenge you have ever faced and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been in overcoming my self-limiting beliefs. I have battled them by taking specific action to align my thoughts with the life that I want and by refusing to let the voices of fear hold me prisoner.
What is your most memorable childhood experience? This can be good or bad.
The summer nights sitting with my dad under a giant cottonwood tree and we would dream about winning Ed McMann’s Publisher Clearing House Sweepstakes.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
The people who have formed me throughout my life, who saw something in me I couldn’t see, and who unleashed that potential for good.
If you had a superpower what would it be and why?
My super power would be to make time stand still so that the moments that take my breath away would never end.
