Ivan Boasher emigrated to the USA from Bulgaria in 1998. He became a US citizen in 2004.
Ivan is married to Irena Boasher for 31 years. They have 2 grown up children. Since 1998 the family has lived in Georgia, New York, Texas and Florida. They frequented Colorado since 2008 and Ivan made Colorado his retirement place.
He has been involved in commodity trading for 39 years.
Ivan likes the outdoors and sports which give him adrenalin rush.
What is one experience that has shaped you to be the person you are today?
I can’t distinguish one experience only. It should be a combination of being born and raised in Bulgaria, having lived in Bangladesh, England and USA, traveled to the majority of countries in the world encountering the mentalities of many different nations.

Excellent education and learning several languages.
What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?
I was working mostly from home before Covid forced almost everybody to do it.
I say: working from home is the best kept secret.
My work involves talking to people from many US states and many countries in the world.
Good communication skills and market knowledge help.
What goal did you set for yourself 2021?
To grow the international footprint of my company.
How do you bring ideas to life?
While leading by example and making the team believe in the new idea.

The growing endeavor to live healthy.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Be patient. If you are persistent, good things will happen to you.

To never be content with what was already achieved and always explore the unknown.
What is one failure/challenge you had (personal or professional), and how did you overcome it?
Without getting into boring details twice in my life I put my trust into people, who let me down.
This just made me more careful and analytical.
